In recognition of Transgender Day of Visibility on March 30th, over 100+ attendees and 15 organizers gathered at DACC Workforce Center to connect through resource sharing & listening to speakers share their stories. Five transgender individuals from the community recounted their lived experiences to the crowd of fellow LGBTQ people, advocates and allies. The connecting thread in every story was the importance of community, solidarity and advocacy. Community organizations came out to show their support as well, including InsideOut Advocacy, Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+) and many more.
