Las Cruces Community Action Network

LCCAN’s mission & vision is reflected in our logo with everything from color to iconography. As the state colors of New Mexico, our primary color is yellow to emphasize our local focus, red is our secondary color to represent our progressive ideals, green is our tertiary color to represent both agriculture & environmentalism. The borders around the state lines are intentionally left open. While the rose is a historical symbol of resistance under authoritarian regimes where the peoples political opinions were suppressed by the government. The petals of the rose form the shape of heart, emphasizing our love & care for the community. The stem of the rose runs from the top to the bottom of the state along the length of the Rio Grande. Finally, Las Cruces is represented in the three crosses atop the Organ Mountains.
